The 2nd Annual 30A Songwriters Festival will take place January 14 - 16, 2011 (Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend)!  Visit www.30aSongwritersFestival.com often to stay up to date throughout the year!
 
An internationally prominent line up of singer-songwriters together with the best local writers and a select group of new artists will converge in south Walton County on Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend (January 14-16, 2011) for the 2nd annual 30A Songwriters Festival. All of the artists will perform in venues up and down Scenic Highway 30A in Northwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. Fans of great music, miles of white beaches, world class restaurants and the ultimate beach bars are invited to enjoy all of this over the three-day holiday weekend.
 
The Performers
2010 headlining artists included AMY RAY ("Joking," "Kid Fears," "Shame On You) and EMILY SALIERS ("Closer To Fine," "Galileo," "Least Complicated") of the Indigo Girls, JEFFREY STEELE ("When the Lights Go Down" - Faith Hill; "What Hurts the Most", "These Days" - Rascal Flatts; "The Cowboy in Me" - Tim Mc Graw); SHAWN MULLINS ("Lullaby", "Beautiful Wreck"); RODNEY CROWELL ("After All Of This Time", Produced "Seven Year Ache" for Rosanne Cash); GARY LOURIS of the Jayhawks ("Blue", "Save It For A Rainy Day", "Everybody Knows" - Dixie Chicks); SAM BUSH ("Circles Around Me", New Grass Revival founder); CHELY WRIGHT ("Shut Up and Drive, "Single White Female") and many, many more.

The Location
Scenic Highway 30-A runs through the Beaches of South Walton in Northwest Florida.  This area is a beautiful destination known for white sand beaches, emerald water, rare dune lakes and world famous communities, such as Grayton Beach, Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach and WaterColor.
